I'd like to introduce everyone to my new baby - Pink and Brown Cake. Isn't she just adorable?
My kids will agree that I've given as much attention to this cake as I would have to a real baby (and now that it's been adopted, I can go back to giving my real kids some much-needed attention). I made this for a friend's daughter's wedding this weekend, and I thought I would never want to touch another batch of fondant again, but . . . I'm already wanting to give birth to another one. Crazy.
Everyone wants to know how much of this cake is actually cake . . . I promised I wouldn't tell (at least not publicly).

But my real kids take the cake when it comes right down to it. Joseph was asked to be the ring-bearer, and he played his part like he'd been doing it a hundred years. And my reserved Cami tore it up on the dance floor the entire night! Such a fun time together.
